FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is your delivery radius?

Delivery is to Hastings and St Leonards. If you are from further afield, you are welcome to collect (address is given at point of order). Find more info about delivery and collection here.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes. If you're a customer, you can find vegan sweet and savoury buns at Trinity Wholefoods available regularly throughout the week and every Saturday vegan buns at Milk & Hustle. If you're a business owner, get in touch via my contact form as I may have space to expand my wholesale offering and am always excited to work with other small businesses.

Where can I find allergy info?

You can find allergen information about a specific product in the MENU section and again at the point of ordering. Your order will come with a label detailing full ingredients and allergen information. If you want to find out more about my allergen policy, please see here.

Do you offer vegan?

Yes! I offer vegan alternatives to most of my babka flavours. Please see the current menu for more details. Please note that although I offer vegan and am careful to keep vegan orders separate, I do bake in a kitchen where dairy, eggs and fish are also handled.

How long does babka keep for?

Babka is baked fresh on the day of delivery and is good for up to 5 days. Store your babka in clingfilm at room temperature (not in the fridge unless specified). You can refresh babka loaves or buns by heating in a warm oven for 10 -15 minutes wrapped in foil. You can also freeze babka (in loaves or slices) for up to 3 months. Defrost overnight at room temperature and warm before eating. You will receive storage instructions on the label attached to your order.

Are you registered with the local authority?

Yes, Small Batch Babka is fully registered as a business with Hastings Borough Council and has received a 5* food hygiene rating.
